Pop-Final Exam
So, I just took a pop final exam in my literature class. We watched a movie in class yesterday that embodied the characteristics of the romantic period of literature. We get to class today and he tells us that our final exam is going to be on the movie. After rambling about nothing for awhile, he reads off these extremely hard questions then says we can use this pack of papers he gave us which basically spelled out the answers. It was rather interesting. I think I did okay, though. I hope. So far I've done fairly well in his class (my lowest grade is an A-) so I think I'll be okay.
Tiffany, Latosha, and Mami are going to the salon to get their nails done. I'm going to watch. Mami got onto me about being more feminine and taking care of my appearance more today. Funny, I can't get away from that here either. Well, I'd better be off, I need to change before we go, my pants are soaked from the lastest downpour.

Hello, again friend Long time no communication! The internet connection we were told we would have has finallly been made avilable for use. So I thought I would drop you a line. My gaurden Angel a.k.a your mom has been mailing me your correspondens, So although I was unable to actully here from you it was nice to know that all is well in the dominican. As for me life at timber mountain is pretty good, I've gotten use to living in a cabin with tarps for windows, and I have been blessed to make some friends and see some of God's beautyful creation. Your comment on eating the same food every day I found to very amuseing and true the meal plan for the week never changes here we eat the same food day in and day out! But , it's pretty good and free so no complants allowed, right? Glad to here that the weather is starting to shape up. I am so alienated from the world up here, I almost forget sometimes that there are other things in this world than timber mountain life. I glad to know that school is going well,I just trying to figure everything out for myself about classes and life in florida in general. I can't exactly say that I am home sick, but ther is alonging to back to "my life" Oddly enough I miss my car! I miss drivig it with the windows down and the music blareing and my best friend in the pasenger seat. You mention a phone card in one of your postings I have an extra one, I was thinking of how I could get it to you? Mailing wouldn't work it wouldn't reach there until you had already left. Then I thought about texting you the numbers that you need to use it with ,but I am not sure if you even get them there, Or if you even want or need one still. I don't know anything anymore I feel so disconnected from everyone and everything I'd love to hear from you,and I hope get this and aren't too upset with me to reply. love, alien on a mountain top! A.K.A nessa
Dear Mami,
Thank you for "adopting" nuestra nieta, Tina, during her stay in your country. Thank you for easing her through a culture new to her, and for encouraging her to be all she can be. She will have such fond memories of you forever.
Kindest regards,
Abuelitos Tanis
And I second that!!!! I was very comfortable with Tina being so far away, because she was in a home that took such good care of her (though I was a little anxious for you all during Hurricane Dennis). Please come and visit us in St. Petersburg (we are very close to TAMPA).
Love
Mama Perry
